ALAN EICHER – piano, composer:
Alan attended Berklee College of Music on
Scholarship studying jazz composition and piano performance.
His education includes private studies with Charles Banacos in jazz theory and improvisation, private classical studies with Bach specialist, Dr. Peter Gach, and studies at San Diego State University, CA.
He has performed and/or recorded with the Charles McPherson Quartet, the Lou Donaldson Quartet, Dr. Lyn Christie Trio, The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, comedian Steve Allen, The Drifters, Jim Cammack, Matt Schulman, Kim Plainfield, Buddy Williams, Emedin Rivera, Bill Bickford, Lou Volpe, Wayne Johnson, Hank Easton, and Brandon Fields.
Recordings include Gerard Diacari’s “Cool Bop Phonics,” Lou Volpe’s “Can You Hear That,” Hank Easton’s “San Diego Sunset,” and Alan’s current original project “Pyramids.” |
