  BORIS TSEITLINE - violin, viola, piano: Boris graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory of Music, the Novosibirsk MiGlinka State Conservatory and the Petrozavodsk branch of the Leningrad N. Rimsky-Koraskov State Conservatory where he became qualified as a concert performer, orchestra soloist, music instructor and ensemble player.

 

He was the winner of the prestigious Laureat String Quartet All-Russia competition award in 1972.

 

While in Russia, Mr. Tseitline was Professor of Viola and Violin at the Leningrad Symphony and was Concert Master and principal violist for the Musical Theatre Conservatory in Leningrad, Russia.

 

He performed with Michel Legrand on his ABBA tour and appeared frequently on Russian cinema and television.

Mr. Tseitline is a highly sought after freelance violist who has performed with various theatre companies performing light operettas, musical comedies, and operas.

 

He has performed with a number of chamber ensembles and string quartets in the New York area.
