JOYCE TOTH - trumpet, piano: Joyce has played for Broadway shows including “Cats”, “Les Miserables”, “Annie Get Your Gun”, “Gypsy”, and “Wonderful Town”, and with the big bands of Jimmy Dorsey, Ed Palermo, Kit McClure and Diva.

She has also performed with The Temptations, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Frankie Valli and Robert Palmer.

Ms. Toth has performed and recorded with Louis Ramirez, Retumba, Adventures in Jazz, and the Sweet Potata Blues Band, among others. She also performed on a recording with the Tom Pierson Orchestra, “tPo”, which was featured in a Smithsonian Institute collection of the greatest moments in jazz.

Her television appearances include “The Joan Rivers Show” and “Guiding Light”; she has traveled all over the world on tours with Broadway shows and groups of every kind, including performances at jazz festivals of Ottawa, Pori and Perugia.

 
 
       
  Ms. Toth is also the music director and leader of “Brass Extravaganza” and “Pink Cadillac”, and has arranged music for the Drifters, the Coasters, and the Platters.

A graduate of Yale University and Manhattan School of Music, she is currently performing as a free-lance artist in the New York City area.

She is currently on the private teaching staff of Dutchess Day School, Riverdale Country Day School, and Briarcliff Music & Related Arts.
